The frustration that started it all.
What if the AI wasn't a feature? What if the AI was the infrastructure itself?
The founding question
After nearly two decades in payments — including building compliance infrastructure, payout rails, and integration architecture at a compliance-first payouts company — the same frustration kept surfacing. Every platform treated compliance as an afterthought. Every platform that claimed to use AI was running a handful of rules and calling it intelligent.
That question became the Anton Engine — five layers of intelligence woven into the core of every transaction. Not bolted on. Not a dashboard widget. The actual decision-making architecture that determines whether a dollar moves, how it moves, and why.
Anton Payments was incorporated in 2026 as a Canadian federal corporation based in Ontario. FINTRAC and FinCEN registrations are pending, with MTL/EMI applications to follow. The company is pre-revenue, building toward launch — getting the infrastructure right before scaling.

Founder and CEO
20 years in payments. Co-founded TheroPay, a compliance-first payouts and FX company. Built SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS compliance programs, payout rail integrations, and the incident-response infrastructure that informed Anton’s architecture. Founded Anton Payments on the belief that AI should be the infrastructure, not a feature.
